Checklist
- Confirm Home Assistant Matter Server is installed and running.
- Keep the phone, controller, and device on the same network during commissioning.
- If the device uses Thread, confirm you have a working Thread border router.
- Factory reset the device and generate or scan a fresh Matter setup code.
- Check whether the device is already paired to another ecosystem and needs multi-admin sharing.
